Birchbox is a $10 beauty subscription service that sends you mid to high end beauty/skincare products once a month. This month I decided to renew my subscription to Birchbox after over a year hiatus! I originally ended my subscription due to excessive foil packets, but after seeing such great reviews in the past few months I decided to give Birchbox a second chance.

And I must say… I’m so happy I did! My September box is valued well over $10 and I will be using everything I received. 🙂

The Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm is my favorite product in this month’s box! This is a full size product and a perfect everyday nude balm.
The Cynthia Rowley Silver Eye Pencil won’t get as much use but it is still a good size and very pigmented. I may revisit this eye pencil for new looks during the holidays!
The Davines Oi Oil is a restorative hair oil and I will be testing it out on my splitting ends, however I’m not a fan of the scent…which kind of reminds me of Pine-Sol. 🙁
But, we shall see…
And lastly, two skincare products. A Whish shave cream in grapefruit which is similar to my favorite EOS shave cream and the Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Face Peel. I have used the face peel once and it seems to be a good exfoliator, hopefully I see good results with a few more uses!
Overall, I’m pretty happy with my September Birchbox! My box is worth well over the $10 I paid and I’m glad to have discovered some great new brands! <3
