Sample Society is a $15 monthly beauty subscription box which features favorites from Allure Magazine and BeautyBar.com. This box normally features deluxe samples ranging from drugstore to high end.

This box also comes with a magazine that describes each product in detail. As you may notice, this month’s samples are incredibly small! This box normally contains at least one close to full sized product so this was a bit disappointing. But anyways, let’s still move on with the product details…
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip Plumper in Rio– Described as a sheer brown lipstick infused with peppermint oil. I like the color but this is likely to get lost amidst the depths of my handbag.
Benefit The Porefessional– A makeup primer which happens to be one of my favorites! Having this mini will actually come in handy!
Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream– An airy floral fragrance. I tend to stay away from floral scents but this is light and has fruity notes to it which I’m really liking.
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil– An oil for all hair types that enhances shine and prevents frizz. My hair has never changed from using an oil…but I haven’t lost hope and I’ll give this a go!
Mt. Sapola Lavender-Chamomile Body Lotion– An essential oil based lotion. I’ve been getting so many herbal scented lotions in my subscription boxes lately, I hope to get some new scents soon.
Illume Tonka Noir Candle– A paraffin and soy wax candle with notes of jasmine and rose. This is the one non-beauty sample and it is honestly my favorite part of this box. I have way too many perfume samples and mini lotions but I can use some more candles in my life!
Overall, this box wasn’t my favorite. The samples are very small and nothing in this box really stands out to me. I will still be trying everything out though and I hope to see better samples next month. What do you think of this month’s Sample Society box?
This was such a good box! I have been wanting to try out Porefession for so long but new stuff always come around and I complitely forget about it. I like Marc Jacobs original Daisy so I will have to try this one out
