When I was a kid my favorite Powerpuff Girl was Buttercup. She had a tough exterior and could handle whatever it would take to defeat the evil monkey MoJo Jojo. I was a pretty shy kid but I had high hopes that one day my superpowers would kick in and I would stop crimes just like Buttercup (let’s take a moment to remember that I was seven at the time). Sadly, I was never blessed with superpowers (surprising, huh?). However, I did love the green, black, and white outfit that Buttercup rocked everyday. Nearly 20 years later, this color combo is still my favorite. In the spring and summer mint has always been a staple for me. This year, I’m pairing it with some of my favorite current trends, kimonos and tassels. I feel like these two add so much to a basic outfit and makes it perfect for a weekend look. Mint, black, and white pair well together for when you’re running errands, or stopping short evil monkeys from world domination. 😉
