Plaid tops and boots are one of my favorite parings for fall! Today’s look is particularly perfect for an upcoming event here in Raleigh, the N.C. State Fair! I haven’t been to the fair in a few years but I’d love to go this year, if anything to eat fried candy bars. I also love the fast paced rides but I always get paranoid about riding something that is only a temporary structure (yikes!).
October also brings a lot of Halloween related local events I’d like to explore this fall too. A few years ago I gave myself a black eye by jumping in fear at a haunted house (no joke! I was terrified!) but I’d love to participate in a zombie crawl/run.
I love everything about Halloween and haunted attractions but I get so scared! What fall events are you looking forward to this year?

Everything about this outfit is perfection for the state fair! I grew up in Raleigh and just moved from there to Charlotte (after living a myriad of places since getting married). We head back there often to visit my folks, and I’m sure we’ll make it out there for the fair this year! Also–your makeup is absolutely beautiful in this post!
