I’m excited to share with you a local event I will be attending this April! The Southern Women’s Show will be making its way to the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC on April 24th-26th. Throughout this weekend, guests are welcome to come shop and explore booths from beauty, fashion, and clothing vendors. Also, guests will have the opportunity to take part in cooking demos, fashion shows, makeovers, and meet celebrity guests!
Peter Facinelli, star of NBC’s new show “Odyssey”, will take the stage on Saturday at noon and participate with the audience in a Q & A. If you are a Twilight fan like me, you may know him better as Dr. Carlisle Cullen from the movie series!
And the celebrity guest I CAN NOT EVEN handle the excitement over potentially meeting is Randy Fenoli from the TLC hit show “Say Yes to the Dress”! I became obsessed with this show last year when I was in my best friend’s wedding and it has been my guilty pleasure ever since. Randy will speak at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26th on the Fashion & Entertainment Stage and there will be an opportunity for a meet and greet!
Along with the celebrity guests, I’m really looking forward to checking out Belk’s signature beauty bar and some incredible fashion shows!
Southern Women’s Show 2014
The Southern Women’s Show runs Friday, April 24th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 25th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 26th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at an advanced discount of $10 online prior to the show or $8 at local Walgreens locations starting March 23. Tickets can also be purchased for $12 at the door. Tickets for children ages 6 through 12 are $6 and children under the age of 6 can attend free of charge with a paying adult.
