My Beach Bag Essentials

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing my summer beach bag essentials! While on my honeymoon a few weeks ago we spent a few hours everyday at the beach or pool so everything I’m sharing helped me survive long days in the sun!

First off, this Target beach bag has been one of my favorite purchases for summer. I actually used this as one of my carry on bags for my trip to Cancun and it fits everything I could possibly need. I love that the bag has a flat sturdy bottom, and I am obsessed with the tassel charm!

I wore this straw hat on repeat during my trip as well as flip flops like these! Both are from Target and I love having affordable accessories with me on beach trips so I don’t need to worry too much about sand or water damage. I also kept this monogrammed bag with me to store my phone, hand sanitizer, and beauty products. We went through a few bottles of sunscreen on our trip and I definitely prefer spray formulas over lotions, they are so much easier to reapply!

I also used the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Sunscreen on my face and it worked like a dream! It has SPF 70 and sits well under makeup.

My favorite lip product with SPF is the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. I love that it doesn’t have an SPF taste like other lip balms and I also like these tinted balms by L’Oréal.

 

My hair is already super damaged from heat tools so it’s important to use a heat protectant that also protects my hair against UV rays.  I really like this one I received in my last Ipsy bag and I also love the leave in product from It’s a 10. And of course, backup hair ties and bobby pins are a must since I’m pretty sure I lost a few in the ocean!

I always bring a few reading options with me and while I stuck to magazines on this beach trip I also picked up this book which I will be reviewing later this summer.
